Come and relax in the beautiful city of Gisborne and let the folk at the Eastland Motor Lodge make your stay one to remember. Waikanae Beach is known for its great surfing and you can also see Young Nicks Head from the beach. An easy 25 minutes’ drive will have you arriving at many lovely beaches up the East Coast or you can visit Eastwoodhill Arboretum, a similar distance away, which is known worldwide for its many beautiful trees, particularly beautiful in the autumn when the leaves change colour. Just past the Arboretum is the Rere falls and Rere Rock Slide, another icon of the Gisborne Region.
Eastland Motor Lodge was a purpose built 8 unit motel in 1970 and was completed as a 17 unit motel with an outdoor swimming pool by the mid 70s
Family Deals for the remainder of the holidays. Small family unit for 2 adults and 2 children 120 per evening 1 child is free. The Superior Studio rooms also over look the pool area and are situated at the back of the Motel about 120 meres away from the main road so they are very quiet at night times. People often inquire us who designed our website so we thought we would pay a special tribute on our site to the guys at GopherTech who not only bear an amazing service but often ample don’t charge us for the little things, and as we all know it's the insignificant things in life that matter.

East land Motor Lodge is one of the best value Motels in Gisborne and has been supplying great value accommodation to the East Coast for over 40 Years. Over the last scanty months' East land Motor Lodge has been developing its land and facilities to accommodate Stuffed size Trucks and Trailers and drivers. There are a complete of eight pools two private plunge pools, three open air plunge pools of varying temperatures, a large hot and a large cold pool and a trivial children’s paddling pool.
Then in 2004, Eastwood hill Arboretum was recognized as a Garden of National Significance’ by the NZ Gardens Trust. Donate can only be applied by the reception of East land Motor lodge via telephone booking or via email or walking in and NOT Avis our online booking system. This unit is ideal for families and for those transient with children this unit is also situated opposite our playground. Extended hours from Boxing Day through to the end of January Begin 7 Days a week, 10am 4pm. The room is climate controlled with heating and air conditioning and has a divide kitchen from which to yield the catering if required.
Our Fresh Air conditioned diner has inner and outside seating overlooking the swimming pool area. Situated about 45 minutes drive from Gisborne CAD the Rene rock slide is a 60 mere rock in the river sat at about 45 Degrees making it an amazing instinctive water slide. Now Wa165 is retired but comes out for particular steam trips and excursions for you and your families out in the sun. Our Fresh Air conditioned diner has internal and outside seating overlooking the swimming pool area. Rene Rock slide is a 60 mere long spontaneous water slide made out of rock in the river with a constant flow of water over it
